Safe Installation & Supervision of Prefabricated MEP Works (3rd Run)

In this course, participants will learn about the different types of prefabricated MEP systems and the technical knowledge required to select and install support systems such as anchors and pull-out tests. They will also learn about advanced monitoring techniques that can be used to ensure safe installation practices. The course will cover a range of safety protocols and procedures, including fall protection, proper use of personal protective equipment, and safe work practices when working at height. Participants will also learn about the importance of communication and coordination among stakeholders during the installation process, including project planning, scheduling, and risk management.

By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards and better equipped to perform their work safely and efficiently.

This course is jointly organized by BCA Academy and Specialists Trade Alliance of Singapore (STAS).

ACCREDITATION

  • Under the Prefabricated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Manufacturer Accreditation Scheme (MAS), this course will be recognized within the ‘Firm and Human Capital – Staff Competency’ Evaluation Criteria for the accredited firms’ workforce.

PRE-REQUISITE

  • As a pre-requisite to attend the course, participants are expected to have prior technical knowledge and experience in MEP installation works.
